PROBLEM

What if a user forgets his or her password?


SOLUTION

A Perforce superuser can set a new password for any user with: 
p4 passwd username      [as of Rel 99.1]

or with: 

p4 user -f username     [in pre-99.1 releases]

If the Perforce superuser has forgotten his or her password, contact Perforce support at support@perforce.com
